North Central Baptist Hospital is part of the Baptist Health System in San Antonio and is recognized as a "Solucient 100 Top Hospitals." North Central Baptist Hospital was established in 1991 to serve the rural north central region of San Antonio and is home to the Baptist Regional Children 's Center. The center offers adult and pediatric emergency care, spacious new maternal and newborn areas including, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

North Central Baptist also offers are in vitro fertilization labs, surgical and medical inpatient and outpatient care, growing cardiac services, intensive care and other services of a general, acute care hospital.
