The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beaumont Health System is seeking candidates interested in obstetric teaching positions in the Residency Clinic in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include clinical care of patients in the Residency Center and the Hospital as well as the teaching and supervision of, medical students, Residents and Fellows. Strong skills in clinical obstetrics are required. A passion for teaching is also highly desired.
Beaumont Health System is an eight hospital regional health system that is the largest health system in the state of Michigan with over 3,400 licensed beds. The system had over 17,000 deliveries last year with over 4,000 births occurring at the Dearborn campus. Beaumont has 40 accredited Residency and Fellowship programs with more than 450 Residents and Fellows.
Beaumont, Dearborn offers a specialized level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care unit, Maternal Fetal Medicine with imaging and private birthing suites for labor, delivery and recover for mothers and their babies. the Family Birth Center also offers a dedicated postpartum unit and high risk antepartum care.

Qualifications: The candidate must be certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. A strong background or interest in medical student and Resident teaching is required. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a persuasive communicator who is empathetic and a respectful listener who can create an atmosphere that allows individuals to flourish within the context of the department. Excellent surgical skills, including minimally invasive & robotic surgery skills.
