Academic Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon Consider a state-of-the-art practice with the Department of Orthopedics at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical system for the University of Massachusetts Medical School! The faculty member will hold a joint appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and be part of the UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center (a hospital within a hospital). The Department is supportive of enhancing surgeon's own area of expertise along with general pediatric orthopedics. Our Pediatric Orthopedics Center at the Children's Medical Center provides family-centered orthopedic care for children and adolescents. • 42 full-time academic faculty, 22 residents, 5 fellows • Highly incentivized compensation plan, excellent benefits and academic rank commensurate with experience • Highest echelon of research universities as demonstrated by the awarding of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
